about

A lovely nature and love song from our favourite bard, which he was inspired to write by the Falls of Moness and the birk trees of Aberfeldy during a tour of the Scottish Highlands Of course, it wouldn’t be Burns if he only praised the charms of nature.... There is a beautiful 2 mile walk up the steep gorge of Moness leading past several waterfalls among the birch trees. A statue of Burns sits ate the entrance to the walk. Alan wrote a gorgeous new tune to this song which goes so well with the words and the sentiment of the song.
